Trust AdministrationEquity Trust & Wealth Management (ETWM) provides comprehensive wealth management services to private client relationships. The Trust Administrator will be responsible for trust administration and tax compliance activities for trust and agency relationships and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA).Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and ability to articulate product and service offering of ETWM
  • Manage accounts in accordance with the terms of the various governing documents, applicable law, and consistent with the needs of the principals, income beneficiaries, and Remaindermen
  • Oversees the opening and closing of accounts, ensures the receipt of proper and legally required documentation, ensures the full and complete transfer of assets, their cost basis, and the proper characterization of cash as income or principal, ensures all tax codes and account administration codes are accurate and oversees tax reporting activities, coordinating ith outside accountants and advisors
  • Reviews, analyzes, and interprets documents for direction; evaluates accounts for completeness and accuracy, initiates, monitors, and reviews account transactions, responds to incoming correspondence and other client requests to ensure compliance with the governing document, applicable law, and policies and procedures
  • Works with manager in developing solutions to most issues brought fort by principals, income beneficiaries, and Remaindermen such as requests for special distributions, fee issues, or disputes
  • Fiduciary responsibilities may also include: estate administration, estate valuations, will and future appointments file, probate and post death processes, and insurance trust monitoring, and IRA administration
  • Monitoring of unique assets (real estate, mineral interests, etc.)
  • Responsible for client synoptic data within the Trust Operating System, letters of retention, valuation of unique assets, and client statement generation
  • Accurately and timely prepare client correspondence, alerts, ticklers, performance reports, proposals, and other administrative functions
  • Maintain electronic and paper client files to compliance requirements
  • Focused client service with responsiveness, diplomacy and tact; proactive client contact through written and verbal communication with suitable frequency
  • Proactively schedule client meeting appointments and act as the key liaison for the relationship
  • Communicates directly with clients and internal business partners, and provides timely updates on all account related activity and responds quickly to requests
  • Works with internal business partners to develop new business as appropriate
  • Develops referrals through their Centers of InfluenceQualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; J.D. preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Trust Administration
    • Trust, Fiduciary, Compliance and Regulatory knowledge required
    • Excellent oral and written skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
