We are seeking an energetic, skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for an opening in Wichita, KS.

JOB SUMMARY:

Manages the financial planning and analysis functions for KanPak business unit. Responsible for financial leadership elements including operational analysis, budgeting and planning, and accounting/reporting.

Manages the process of the development of annual operating, latest estimate and long-term strategic plans and monitor the progress of those plans.

The manager will have frequent contact with senior management (both Corporate and KanPak teams), plant controllers and plant operations, which requires strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review and present financial reporting and analysis for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews, Strategic Plan and annual Budget review (40%)

2. Compiles, monitors, and analyzes cost changes and related reports (monthly/quarterly pricing, pricing schedules, cost savings projects) in products, raw materials, freight, and overhead.

Maintain standard cost system to ensure accuracy of inventory valuation and lead standard cost updates, including analysis of purchase price variances to standards. Perform month end duties such as, inventory subledger reconciliation, reporting monthly on adjustments, variances and book to physical activities and reporting on inventory value and location. Compiles and develops reporting and analysis for the Company's freight expense on a monthly basis. Publishes a freight pricing as needed Evaluates special projects and feasibility studies (new products, customers, methods or services) to determine impact on costs and revenues. Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited university or college, CPA preferred.

Experience:

At least 8+ years of relevant work experience in business group / operational accounting functions, preferably within direct, adjacent or transferrable industries.
