PDM practitioners are local to project locations, minimizing extensive travel, and provides you with a full career path within the firm.Work you'll do/ResponsibilitiesSenior Network Support Engineer Job Responsibilities:Responsible for managing Incident/Tickets, Change/Configuration management/Problem management with root cause analysis of the tickets with Level 2 & Level 3 supportDesigning and installing well-functioning computer networks, connections and cabling from onsite Data CentersPerforming troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of networkTesting and configuring software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devicesConfigure and support the network components such as Routers, Switches and Access Points, Wireless controllersResponsible for Network Documentation using Visio Tools, MS-Power PointConfiguration and troubleshooting of different kind of Access-listsCisco IOS security features and basic knowledge of security vulnerabilities, threats, and attacks about Implementation, Monitoring and Troubleshooting of Cisco ACS for Authentication, Authorization, and accounting of network equipment.Quickly diagnose and troubleshoot wide range of campus network issues, from end-host connectivity to traffic flows across network coreOperate and maintain chassis switches in various redundancy technologies (VSS, HSRP, SSO, vPC)Troubleshoot and resolve network outages, network performance issues, or networked application issuesProvide support coverage for P1 & P2 incidents after business hours and on-call dutiesWork onsite at client location in Wichita, KS. Able to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve network outages, network performance issues, or networked application issues.In-depth experience in configuring and managing Datacenter Cisco Nexus Switches (5K,7K,9K)Advanced knowledge with core network infrastructure technologies and protocols (campus routing & switching, WLAN, 802.1x, STP, EIGRP, BGP)Experience in the development and implementation of network designs according to standards and best practicesExperience operating and maintaining chassis switches, with knowledge of various redundancy technologies (VSS, HSRP, SSO, vPC)Experience with the operation and maintenance of common NMS, configuration management toolsComfortable with the use of various Network Operating Systems (Cisco IOS XE, NX-OS, Aruba/HP)Wireless Networks: Cisco & Aruba APs and Network Controllers, including their authentication integration with Cisco ISEDemonstrable experience in Routing and Switching concept (Cisco / Juniper Platform)Working knowledge in Load balancers technology (Any OEM)Ability to produce RCA of Severity incidents impacting network with minimum support from Superiors/Seniors within teamHands on experience - Hardware Module, Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting for the following listed Routers and SwitchesRouters: Cisco 7600, 7500, 7200, 3800, 3700, 3600, 2600, 2900, 1900,1800,1700 seriesSwitches: Nexus 7010, 7009, 9300, 3850 Cisco 3500, 2960 series.Enterprise Monitoring Tools experienceITSM/Ticketing tool experienceMust live near or be willing to relocate to Wichita, KS.
