How your skills will be used:

The PEC marketing proposal team lead--will be responsible for all pursuit-related activities, managing workflow and proposal team resources for the firm, developing best proposal and pursuit practices, and leading in training proposal team members. You will:

-Oversee, manage, and traffic company-wide pursuit and procurement opportunities including RFPs, RFQs, SOQs, vendor qualification forms, and similar

-Build and implement proposal team processes and strategy ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness, working directly with division marketing manager

-Develop and lead the go/no-go process to ensure resources align with the firm's mission and goals

-Work with managers to identify key target clients, industries, and markets

-Compile key proposal metrics on a regular basis, periodically assess data and recommend efficiencies/ changes. Develop team KPIs

-Coordinate tailored proposal and qualification submittals, providing leadership with outlined deliverables, schedule expectations, driving the process, and ensuring quality control

-Provide presentation training, coaching, and leadership that challenges and improves the performance of proposal interview teams

-Support timely data management of the firm's CRM database (Deltek Vantagepoint) to maintain project information, resumes, final submittals, marketing resources, visuals, and other materials

-Actively develop content through writing and editing

-Conceptualize visual design elements and implement through basic graphic design or coordinate with our in-house graphic designer

-Use and monitor the use of corporate brand standards, templates, instructions, manuals, and documents


Please apply if your background includes:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or similar

-6+ years of proposal management experience within the A/E/C industry (preferred)

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the Adobe Creative application inDesign

-Experience with federal, state, and local government procurement regulations and practices preferred

-Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred

-Excellent written and verbal communicator

-Values building internal and external professional relationships

-Self-starter who requires little to no supervision to meet assigned deadlines

-High energy, positive, professional attitude, takes pride in work, superior attention to detail, persistent

-Team oriented, collaborative work style

Working conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment. Buildings are climate-controlled with tile, concrete and carpeted floors. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets, etc.

Physical requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle files, computers and phones; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel. Frequent and regular repetitive movements required using the wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


Relationship to others:

This position is a supervisory role with up to 2-4 direct reports.
