Job Description:

In this role is you will:

  • Support the worldwide Specialized Aircraft sales team
  • Research and benchmark the domestic and international Specialized Aircraft market segments
  • Gather competitive intelligence and monitor market trends
  • Analyze customer requirements and provide recommended solutions to the Sales team
  • Conduct robust and effective technical analysis in areas such as:
  • Airfield performance and mission endurance
  • Payload Size, Weight, Power and Cooling capability
  • Internal and external configurations
  • Systems, avionics and electrical interfaces
  • Operating costs
  • Reliability and Maintainability
  • Manned versus unmanned operations
  • Develop clear, impactful, concise, and dynamic presentations tailored for a range of audiences including Commercial, Government and Military users along with Industry partners.
  • Identify and implement effective Specialized Aircraft Sales Engineering tools to improve productivity and quality of deliverables
  • Support the development of future specialized aircraft with the knowledge and experience gathered through internal, customers and operators' discussions
  • You may be required to travel to meet customers and support our sales team at trade shows and special events.


    QualificationsAs our ideal candidate,
    • You hold a University Engineering degree, preferably in the Aerospace field
    • You have ten (10) years or more of experience in the aerospace industry
    • You have aircraft knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines: aircraft performance, operations, systems, avionics, interior, preferably on Business Aircraft
    • A pilot license and/or aircraft operational experience is an asset
    • Previous relevant military experience in areas such as operations in C2ISR, ASW, Maritime Patrol or requirements development is an asset
    • You have solid knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity
    • You have superior analytical and communication skills: ability to synthesize complex concepts or analyses in simple, high impact statements
    • You are passionate about aviation
    • You are at ease interacting with customers and Management at all levels.
    • You speak English perfectly (written and oral). French and other languages are assets
    • You are fully proficient at using Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in PowerPoint
    • You can multi-task, and prioritize work while maintaining rigor and attention to details
    • You are available to work flexible hours when required to respond to customer requests
    • You are eligible to obtain and hold a US Secret security clearance
    • This position may require occasional to extensive travel
    • Knowledge of the various Bombardier Engineering disciplines and tools is an asset
    • Experience in a marketing or sales environment is a plus
    • Team spirit, commitment, professionalism and innovation are qualities required to excel in this position.
