Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Programmer Job Description Program various CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment for tasks such as 3 and 5 axis cutting, CNC Lathe, and router programming to form or shape manufactured parts from raw materials. Responsibilities Use CAD/CAM programming system to convert engineering drawings and change orders into machine G Code format. Implement changes to machine programs and enter new specifications. Program future jobs while machines are operating and ensure the current revision level is accurate. Complete all necessary documentation and follow up as required in a timely, orderly manner. Inspect and evaluate production parts to blueprint specifications. Design, build, and repair a variety of basic mechanical and specialty equipment, jigs, and fixtures. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned departmental equipment/machinery. Essential Skills 3 years of CNC Programming experience 3 years of Catia experience Proficiency in machining, blueprint reading, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Experience with CNC Lathe and Mill operations Knowledge of aircraft manufacturing processes Additional Skills & Qualifications Five years of CAD/CAM programming experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Great attention to detail Good written and oral communication skills Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic repair, and maintenance Why Work Here? Work Environment Work will take place in a non-climate controlled facility located in Wichita, KS. The dress code is pants/shorts and a shirt, with no tank tops or cut-offs allowed. Be open to working both 1st shift (Mon-Fri; 6:30am-3pm) and 2nd shift (Mon-Fri; 3pm-11:30pm). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
