Heavy industrial manufacturing client is in search of a General Manager.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a General Manager near Wichita, KS. We are looking for someone with at least 15 years of experience managing employees within an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities For The General Manager Include

• Planning and controlling manufacturing operations for a mid-sized manufacturing facility
• Managing plant staff to meet production objectives and customer needs while focusing on cost
• Establishing and maintaining safety standards
• Recommending capital projects
• Responsible for the P&L of the operation, budgeting, pricing, process improvement to maximize operational profitability
  Requirements For The General Manager Include
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • At least 15 years of leadership experience within a industrial manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of P&L experience
  • Understanding of application of Six Sigma tools a plus
  • Strong team building and communication skills
