Job Description:

Position Summary
The Assistant Bank Center Manager will provide the highest level of customer service in a positive, courteous, and enthusiastic manner to all employees, clients, and the community. Under the direction of the Bank Center Manager, assist in the management of the daily operations and results of the bank. This individual will assume responsibility for the branch in the absence of the Branch Center Manager.
Job Specific Responsibilities


  • Leadership: Maintain a staff that consistently delivers exceptional quality service with a professional and positive attitude while maintaining a cohesive team atmosphere.
  • New Accounts: Proficient in opening and servicing various deposit and consumer loan products/services. Some products including checking, savings, debit cards, overdrafts, consumer loans, home equity lines of credit, and mortgages.
  • Support: Perform client transactions and investigate transactions to resolve client questions, applying corrective action when necessary.
  • Digitally Engaged Teacher: Be proficient in using all tools available and train customers and bank associates how to use them.
  • Basic Advice & Guidance: Achieve bank growth goals by proactively reaching out to customers to identify products and service that fit their needs.
  • Customer Experience: Make a positive impact in the financial lives of our customers by building strong relationships and learning about our customers' financial needs while taking a consultative approach when making recommendation of banking solutions.
  • Compliance: Comply with all governing rules and regulations including internal bank policies and procedures.
  • Community: Actively participate in community programs and activities to promote the Bank and generate new customer relationships.
  • Property Management: Help manage day-to-day building needs.
  • Knowledge: Monitoring the competitive environment by staying abreast of changes in the financial service industry; assessing the impact of those changes on the bank.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor or Associates degree from accredited college or High School Diploma and 2 years of college or customer service experience.
      • Proficient with computers and technology
      • Cash handling experience, preferred
