CNA/CMA Lakepoint WichitaLakepoint Wichita-SNF 9012, 1315 N West Street, Wichita, Kansas, United States of America Req #183 Thursday, August 27, 2020 NursingFull Time Part Time *NEW WAGE SCALEGENERAL DESCRIPTIONProvide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.ESSENTIAL DUTIESAdheres to the policies, operating procedures, the Mission and Core Values of Omega Senior Living.Responsible for completing the daily shift report and communicating directly to the next shift any urgent needs.Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with our established policies and procedures, and as instructed by your supervisors. Demonstrates ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.Assists with resident care to include housekeeping, laundry, social needs, and demonstrates proper lifting techniques.Assists with serving meals and essential clean-up.Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.Demonstrates skills in meeting the physical and emotional needs of the resident.Report all changes in the resident's condition to the DON/Charge Nurse/HWD as soon as practical.Report all accidents and incidents you observe on the shift that they occur.Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.Assist the DON/ADON with implementing any required plans of corrections following surveys or audits.Will keep certification current and participate in continuing education to include staff meetings, in services and web based trainings.This is an overview of the Job Description and not a comprehensive list of responsibilities.
