This position provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge
of a Registered Nurse. Must demonstrate the clinical ability to
work as Primary RN on the Unit. Must be able to coordinate the
delivery of patient care on the Unit; completes required
documentation; participate in patient/family teaching and discharge
planning, effectively utilizing the Nursing Process. Provides
leadership by working cooperatively and effectively with
physicians, ancillary staff and other administrative and support
personnel in maintaining the standards of professional nursing
practice in the multidisciplinary clinical setting. Provides the
basic leadership required of a Registered Nurse for subordinate
staff on the Unit. Maintains quality delivery of patient care by
completing patient assignments in compliance with the Nursing
Process, the Kansas Nurse Practice Act, -Joint Commission and State
regulations and established Hospital Policies and Procedures.

and directing the nursing functions of patients on the unit.

Reports to: Director of Women's Services
Graduate of an accredited program in nursing. ADN required, BSN
Kansas, -United States - Registered Nurses
Current Kansas Registered Nurse license.
Minimum Work Experience
1-2 years of experience preferred.
ACLS and NRP within 12 months of hire
S.T.A.B.L.E. for NICU nurses within 2 years of finishing NICU
EFM (Intermediate or Advanced) required within 1 year of hire and
completion of L&D competencies
