Do you have a passion for Women's Health? Join our Women's Service
Line as a Float Pool RN! Experience our Labor & Delivery, BirthCare
Center, Postpartum, and High Risk units as you float to help out
each unit. The float pool team is achieving excellence in their
field every day. Join this team of professionals and take your
career to the next level. -
What you will do in this role: -
- You will be responsible for delivering patient-centered nursing
care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis,
planning, implementation and evaluation. -
- You will systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness
of nursing practice by participation in quality of care activities
to initiate, implement, and sustain process improvements. -
- You will provide hands on clinical support for nurses -
- You will help manager nursing operation around patient care
activities, assist in mentoring, teaching and supporting clinical
nursing staff. -
- You will adhere to clinical policies, protocols, regulations
and standards. -
- You will be collaborating with the patient, significant others
and health care providers in providing and advocating for patient
care.--- -
- You will consistently set an example of excellence in clinical
practice. -
- You will monitor the patient's progress toward the attainment
of outcomes. -
- You will be participating in the improvement of operational
functions of the department. -
- You will establish and maintain effective and respectful
communication in development of all collaborative relationships.

What qualifications you will need for this role: -
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing -
- Current licensure in the State of Kansas a Registered Nurse, or
current active multi-state Registered Nurse license -
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart
Association -
- 2+ years of labor and delivery, fetal monitoring, and newborn
