*Long Term Acute Care RN*Day shift13 week contract with possibility to extendValid KS or Comapact RN License1.5+ years experience in ICU, PCU or LTAC$60/hr blended rate (taxed + stipend)$2160/wk gross*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Acute Care department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.*Responsibilities*- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to healthcare providers- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans- Educate patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans- Assist in emergency medical procedures as needed*Qualifications*- Valid RN license in the state of practice- Experience in acute care, critical care, or emergency medicine preferred- Strong knowledge of acute pain management and pediatric care- Ability to ventilate patients and manage acute pain effectively- Familiarity with dialysis procedures and family planning services- Proficiency in specimen collection processing and interpretation- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment- Certification in critical care nursing is a plusJoin our team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in an acute care setting.
