Details $1,905 - $2,590 Weekly Rate Department: Associate Travel Program - PT Assistant Schedule: Multiple Shifts available, 40 hours per week Hospital: Multiple Ascension acute care hospitals Location: Local and national travel options are available dependent on need. This position is a permanent, full time position made up of 8-13 week assignments - not a short term option or temporary contract. Ability to extend as needed. Responsibilities Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist. Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist. Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population. Document treatment interventions given. May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences Additional Preferences: One year of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology Experience. One year of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant Travelers must be willing to travel 50 miles from permanent residence. Local and national travel options are available dependent on need.
