Healthcare provider CPR Description: The position is for a
Radiation Therapist. The unit is focused on Radiation Therapy. The
unit currently has 10 staff members with 2 open Radiation Therapy
positions. Staffing consists of 1 Front Desk, 2 RNs, 1 CT Tech, 3
Radiation Therapists, and 2 Dosimetrists. The unit operates with no
patient ratios. Equipment includes 2 Linear Accelerators. The EMR
system used is Aria. Typical procedures performed on this unit
include SRS/SBRT, VMAT, 3D, and electrons. The ideal candidate
should be a team worker. They should be willing and open to
learning. Compassion is essential for this role. New True Beam
equipment was installed in March 2023. The department has received
recognition for patient satisfaction, ranking in the top 5% of
healthcare providers. This is an excellent opportunity for
advancement in the field of radiation therapy. The work schedule
provides options for both 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
shifts.
