Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Seasonal travel position • Work in Step-Down Unit 637 with 8 beds • Patient ratio of 1:4 • Night shift staffing includes 2 RNs and 1 PCT • Must have dysrhythmia interpretation skills • NIH stroke scale knowledge required • Use Meditech EMR system • Must be a great communicator and team-oriented • Candidates without dysrhythmia interpretation skills will not be considered • Located on 3rd floor of main building Facility: This healthcare facility operates a progressive care unit (step-down unit) providing intermediate-level care for patients who require more monitoring and intervention than general medical floors but less intensive care than ICU patients. The facility utilizes Meditech electronic medical records and maintains appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure quality patient care.
