Pay Information $1,858 per week About The Position Job Title: RN - Endoscopy Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Endoscopy experience: circulating and tech procedures. Description: This is a travel position for an RN specializing in Endoscopy. The unit has 9 beds and a team of 11 full-time/part-time staff and 2 PRN staff. Staffing consists of 6-7 RNs and 2 techs per day. Patient ratios in the intra-operative team are 2 patients per RN. The pre/post-operative ratio is 2 patients per RN. The unit utilizes Olympus endoscopes and reprocessors. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures include EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS. Ideal candidates can work independently with minimal supervision and function well as part of a team during procedures. Staff members perform basic and interventional/therapeutic procedures on high-acuity patients.
