Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Wichita, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,876 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67214! Job Title: Travel RN - IMU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: Must-Have: BLS, ACLS Description: Travel RN position available for an Intermediate Medical Unit. The unit has 37 beds and a staff of 12. The day shift includes 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, and 1 Unit Clerk. The night shift includes 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs. Patient ratios are 1:6, with a ratio of 1:4 for Heart Cath patients. Equipment used in the unit includes PCA Pumps, IV pumps, and Chest Tubes. The Electronic Medical Record system utilized is Meditech. Skills most sought after include travel RNs and local CNAs or sitters. Candidates without the required certifications will not be considered for the role. Preferred candidates will possess additional skills relevant to the position. Common procedures performed on the unit include central lines, medication drips, Heart Cath recovery, and bubble studies.
