Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our faith-based healthcare organization. Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations on patients to assist in the diagnosis and tracking of diseases and conditions. Ensure the correct interpretation and distribution of data obtained from imaging, maintaining confidential patient records. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to review cases and contribute to complex diagnoses. Educate patients on procedure details, answering any questions and ensuring their comfort and safety during imaging. Maintain ultrasound equipment, report any malfunctions, and verify that repairs are completed. Stay current with advancements in the field and participate in continuing education to enhance expertise and skills. Proficiency in operating ultrasound imaging devices Strong analytical skills to interpret sonographic data Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and privacy Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is preferred. CPR certification required
