Job Description HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract - Number of Beds - 52 - Number of Staff – 134 - Type of staff: - Day Shift – 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod - Night Shift - 1 charge, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician and 1 midlevel per pod - Patient Ratios – 3:1 average, low acuity 5:1, Peds= team nursing - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed - Type of equipment - Alaris - EMR -Meditech - Typical Procedures: - IV starts, medication administration, sedations, pediatrics - Good grasp on patient experience Must Haves:/n- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred/n- A recent 12 months of ED RN experience in an acute hospital setting/n- KS RN License/n- ACLS, BLS, CPI, ENPC, NIH, PALS, and TNCC Certifications/n/nPreferred or Nice to Have:/n- MediTech Experience/n- Travel Experience
