Job Summary and Qualifications Performs Imaging studies of various parts of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injury. - Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed - Performs procedures assesses patients throughout and responds to patient needs as appropriate - Completes appropriate documentation for each study performed - Performs all computer and PACS functions - Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff - Demonstrates knowledge of Universal protocols - Uses professional judgment and critical thinking when performing procedures - Participates in orientation and training of new staff members and instructs students during their clinical rotations - Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols in order to ensure the highest quality procedures - Follows all Radiation dose monitoring guidelines - Performs all other duties as assigned What qualifications you will need: - Basic Cardiac Life Support - State Registered Radiologic Technician - Associate Degree - Registered Computerized Tomography Technician, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
