Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Wichita, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/13/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Wichita, Kansas, 67214! Job Title: Travel RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Kansas RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH Must-Have: - Experience in traveling or experience in large facility areas Description: This position is for a travel RN in the Emergency Department. The shift is from 7 PM to 7 AM. The unit has 52 beds and a total of 134 staff members. During the day shift, there is 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod. The night shift consists of similar staffing levels. Patient ratios average 3:1, with lower acuity patients having ratios as high as 5:1. Pediatric patients will be managed using team nursing approaches. Typical equipment includes Alaris and the EMR system is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and care for pediatric patients. Candidates should have a good understanding of patient experience. The ideal candidate will be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be diverse and able to learn quickly. The staff is relatively young and expects all team members to handle their responsibilities independently. Experience in large emergency departments is preferred, as well as familiarity with Meditech.
