United Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg
for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas. Job Description &
Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel This 26-bed unit is staffed with a
dedicated Charge Nurse, RNs, Patient Care Techs, and support from a
Unit Clerk on days, with sitters rarely needed. Nurses care for
patients at an estimated 1:5 ratio and should be comfortable
assisting with mobility using lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and
walkers/canes. The unit supports a broad post-op population,
including TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacements,
post-hysterectomy care, and gallbladder/appendectomy recoveries;
