Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/03/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM • 13-week assignment duration • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required • Must be comfortable floating between Pre-Op and PACU units • Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Missouri RN license or Compact license required • Cerner charting system experience required • Trauma Level II experience required • Must complete pre-start HealthStream modules (4 hours for this unit) • Candidate responsible for timely completion of all assigned modules throughout assignment • At least one professional reference required for submission • Copy of certifications required with submission • Phase I PACU and Phase II Recovery experience needed • Skills include conscious sedation, pain management, dysrhythmia recognition, IV management, and pre/post procedural care Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a Trauma Level II center providing comprehensive perioperative services including pre-operative and post-anesthesia care.
