Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Wichita, KS Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,822 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN CVICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification, CPI/MOAB High Risk Online Portion, CPI/MOAB High Risk On-Site Portion Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular ICU setting Description: This is a 20-bed intensive care unit focused on cardiothoracic patients. The role involves providing critical care to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries and other related procedures. Nurses will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage complex patient situations are essential. Effective communication with patients and their families is a critical component of the role. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to best practices is expected.
