Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/26/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Critical Care Unit – Kansas Start Date: January 26, 2026 Location: Wichita, Kansas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 1:2 patient ratio in a 26-bed critical care unit Highlights: - Advanced critical care environment with exposure to balloon pumps, CRRT, therapeutic hypothermia, and cardioversion procedures - Collaborative team structure with 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech per shift - Manageable patient ratio of 1:2 allowing for quality patient care and professional growth - EMR system: Meditech - Opportunities to work with central lines, medication drips, and post-cardiac catheterization patients - Travel RN assignment with competitive benefits Requirements: - Active Registered Nurse license - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – required - NIH Stroke Scale certification – required - Previous critical care or ICU experience strongly preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, organized, and efficient RN who thrives in a fast-paced critical care setting.
