Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Rehabilitation - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation – Kansas Start Date: January 5, 2026 Location: Wichita, Kansas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Patient ratio 1:6 Highlights: - Work in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital with new equipment and modern technology - Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans - Utilize med/surg skills in a post-acute rehabilitation setting with 41-bed unit - Hands-on patient care including IV medication administration, lab draws, telemetry monitoring, and patient education - EMR system: Meditech Magic - Opportunity to work in a newly established facility focused on innovative rehabilitation care Requirements: - Current Kansas RN license or compact state license - BLS certification required - Ability to read and interpret telemetry - Experience with patient lifts, iSTAT, glucometers, and administering respiratory treatments - CRRN certification preferred - ACLS certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 90 days) - Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute settings is a plus Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a brand-new rehabilitation hospital where you'll use your med/surg expertise to help patients achieve their recovery goals in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
