ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Seasonal travel position in progressive care unit (PCU) • 14-bed unit with 1:4 patient ratio • Every other weekend scheduling requirement • Must be available to float to other units • Work with chest tubes, IV pumps, and various other drains • Use Meditech electronic medical record system • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Must have knowledge of medication drips, central lines, and heart catheterization recovery • Unit performs non-invasive procedures only • Work alongside RNs and PCTs (Patient Care Technicians) • Position requires positive attitude, patient-centered care, critical thinking skills, team collaboration, and high engagement Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 14-bed progressive care unit providing intermediate-level care between general medical floors and intensive care units.
