Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Patient ratio of 1:5 (estimated ratios, not guaranteed) • Work on 26-bed telemetry unit (T4/634) • Night shift staffing includes Charge Nurse, 3 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Techs • ACLS certification required • NIH certification preferred • Work with equipment including lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and walkers/canes • Care for patients undergoing typical procedures such as TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacement, post-hysterectomy, and gallbladders/appendectomies • Must have outgoing personality and be team-oriented • Sitters are very uncommon on this unit • Work in supportive team environment with both tenured staff and new staff in training Facility: This community hospital provides a family-like atmosphere while maintaining the resources and support of larger healthcare systems.
