Job Description:
Ascension seeks a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse
Oncology to join our faith-based healthcare organization. As a
pivotal member of our oncology team, you will play a critical role
in providing holistic care tailored to the needs of cancer

patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans
for oncology patients. Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed
medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing
standards. Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in
patients' conditions in a timely and efficient manner. Operate
medical equipment and assist with the performance of diagnostic
tests and analyses. Educate patients and their families on disease
processes, treatment modalities, and health maintenance and
prevention. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate
and enhance patient care and outcomes. Proficient in administering
chemotherapy and managing side effects. Strong understanding of
oncology care protocols and best practices. Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a
multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and patient-focused approach.

401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Oncology Certified
Nurse (OCN) certification preferred.
