Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg General Surgery team. At HCA

providing essential surgical nursing care. This role requires a
resilient individual who can efficiently coordinate patient care in
a high-stress, fast-paced surgical environment while maintaining
the highest standards of safety. Provide direct nursing care in
accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of
the healthcare organization. Monitor, record, and communicate
patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized
documentation systems. Instruct and educate patients and families
on post-surgical care and lifestyle adjustments. Administer
medications and thoroughly observe patients for reactions or side
effects. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs
with members of the healthcare team. Strong clinical skills in a
surgical environment Ability to work independently and as part of a
team Superior time management skills Excellent verbal and written
communication Proficient in using healthcare software and systems

401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
