Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/24/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Cardiac Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a minimum of 18 months of true telemetry experience and prior travel nursing experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Hospital telemetry unit within a cardiac float pool setting - Cardiac telemetry patient population including pre- and post-cardiac cath patients and sheath management - Involves titrating drips and monitoring lethal cardiac rhythms - Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15) - Every other weekend required - Floating required as part of the float pool assignment - Charting system: Cerner (experience required) - Must be willing and able to care for COVID-positive patients - Scrub color: Navy blue - No block scheduling will be added to the contract - Requested time off submitted after the hiring process will not be approved - Completion of 8 cardiac CEUs and 8 stroke CEUs required for this telemetry placement - First-time travelers will not be considered for this position /n /n Requirements/n - Active MO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand - Minimum 18 months of true telemetry (cardiac) nursing experience required - Prior travel nursing experience required - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CPI, and NIHSS - TNCC certification preferred - Cerner EMR experience required, no exceptions - Must pass an EKG exam on orientation day with a score of 80% or higher (includes lethal rhythm identification) - Two professional references required for consideration - Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-676175.
