How you’ll make an impact in this role - Empowering Your Team: You’ll act as a mentor and navigator, assigning, educating, and monitoring nursing and support staff to ensure every associate is positioned for success during your shift. - Advocating for Excellence: You’ll serve as the point of contact for patient care concerns, resolving challenges with empathy and professionalism through established clinical channels. - Orchestrating the Unit: In the fast-paced ED environment, you will masterfully balance shifting patient and physician dynamics, setting the priorities that keep the department running smoothly. - Building the Future: Your expertise will directly influence the growth of our team. You’ll provide vital input on hiring, training, and the professional development of the nursing staff. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: - Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required. What additional preferences we're seeking - Proven ED Experience: You must have prior experience as a Registered Nurse in an ED setting.
