Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 4/19/2026 About the Position Job Summary We are seeking
a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join a
Cardiovascular Unit providing high-quality patient care in a
fast-paced hospital setting. The RN will deliver comprehensive
nursing care to patients with cardiovascular and general
medical-surgical conditions while collaborating with physicians and
interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Unit Overview 38-bed
Medical/Surgical Cardiovascular Unit Telemetry with remote
monitoring No drip titrations required Lab team collects blood
specimens RNs start IVs (IV team available for additional support)
No requirement to perform EKGs or discontinue sheaths Scrub Color:
Ceil Blue Charting System: Cerner OneChart Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical
Cardiovascular Unit . Monitor patient conditions, including
telemetry readings and cardiovascular status. Administer
medications and treatments as ordered by physicians. Start IV lines
and assist with patient procedures as needed. Collaborate with
physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams. Maintain
accurate and timely documentation in the Cerner OneChart system.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and
discharge care. Follow hospital policies and procedures to maintain
patient safety and infection control. Requirements Minimum 1 year
of Medical/Surgical nursing experience . Experience with telemetry
monitoring preferred. Ability to manage multiple patients in a
fast-paced clinical environment. Strong communication and teamwork
