Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specialized in
Observation Telemetry to join our faith-based healthcare team. In
this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring and
assessing patients who require telemetry equipment to observe
cardiac and other vital body functions. With a focus on delivering
compassionate, personalized care, you will utilize innovative
technologies and treatments to enhance patient outcomes while
closely adhering to our mission of transforming healthcare through
empathy and advanced medical practices. Monitor patient vital signs
and telemetry devices continuously, identifying any changes in
cardiac rhythms. Administer medications, record patient progress,
and communicate status updates to appropriate healthcare team
members. Educate patients and families on treatment plans and
health maintenance. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to
confidentiality guidelines. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary
team to formulate holistic care plans. Proficient in the use of
telemetry equipment and interpreting cardiac rhythms. Strong
communication and patient education abilities. Ability to work well
in a team and under pressure. Strong observational and analytical
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
