Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our
Surgical Intensive Care Unit who shares our passion for

care. The selected candidate will be pivotal in managing critical
patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. At Ascension, we

mission of holistic care. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing
care to critically ill patients. Implement patient care plans
including diagnostics, monitoring, and therapeutic interventions.
Educate patients and families on treatment expectations,
post-discharge care, and health management. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to facilitate coordinated and optimal
patient care. Adhere to all facility health and safety policies and
procedures. Proficient in using electronic health records and
medical software. Strong skills in clinical assessment and critical
thinking. Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and
effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
