Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Neuro Trauma ICU to join our faith-based healthcare organization. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be instrumental in providing advanced nursing care to patients with critical neuro injuries and conditions in our Intensive Care Unit. This role demands a high level of expertise in neurologic assessments and a compassionate approach to patient management, aligning with our mission to transform healthcare through innovation and personalized care. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Interact with various healthcare teams to assist patients' recovery. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and keep detailed records. Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health restoration. Proficiency in neurologic assessments Critical thinking Strong decision-making capabilities Expertise in ICU operation and medical equipment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS/ACLS Certification CCRN certification preferred Specialty certification in Neuro Nursing (CNRN) is advantageous
