Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated and skilled RN PACU POH to join
our post-operative care team at one of our premier hospital
locations. This role focuses on providing top-quality recovery care
for patients coming out of anesthesia following surgery. The ideal
candidate will be compassionate, detail-oriented, and skilled in
monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and preventing complications
post-surgery, ensuring a safe and swift recovery process for our
patients. Monitor patient vital signs and levels of consciousness
during the recovery phase. Administer medications to alleviate pain
and prevent infection. Assess patients' readiness for transfer to
wards or discharge home. Record and communicate patient status to
other healthcare team members. Educate patients and families on
post-surgery home care instructions. Strong acute care skills
Excellent patient assessment abilities Proficiency in administering
medications Ability to operate PACU-specific medical equipment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance

license BLS certification ACLS certification preferred
