Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing
in Vascular Access to join our faith-based healthcare organization.
In this vital role, you'll be the cornerstone in providing high
quality, compassionate care, focusing on access procedures for
patients across our network. With cutting-edge resources, this
position will play a crucial part in our mission to transform
healthcare by integrating personalized treatments and innovating
healthcare practices. Assess patient condition and plan appropriate
vascular access care. Insert and manage central lines, PICC lines,
and other types of vascular access devices. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care. Educate
patients and families on management and care of vascular accesses.
Maintain patient records and document all care related activities.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Proficient in various types of vascular access device placement and
management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certification for Vascular
Access (VA-BC) preferred.
