professional like you to be a part of our Nuclear Medicine team.
Join us in our efforts to better serve our community! A few
responsibilities of our Nuclear Medicine Tech include: You will
position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of
procedure to be performed You will be performing procedures and
assessing patients throughout and responding to the patient’s needs
as appropriate You will complete appropriate documentation for each
study performed You will participate in quality control and
assessment activities on a daily basis You will handle
radiopharmaceuticals to include storage, dosage
preparation/calculation, administration, and disposal You will
perform quality control, equipment calibration, and equipment
maintenance You will participate in the improvement of operational
functions of the department You will monitor and evaluate the
quality and appropriateness of care and practices; identifying
opportunities for improvement through collaboration The required
job qualifications include: Current registry by the American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Nuclear Medicine Technology
Certification Board Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification
course, as specified in policy Graduate of an accredited school of
Nuclear Medicine Technology One year of experience in Nuclear
