Description: Retail Sales AssociateHelm is a fast-growing company that is seeking an experienced Retail Sales Associate for a retail store located in Wichita, Kansas. This position will be responsible for customer transactions and service within the store. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a retail customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate. • Customer Service
• Answering customer questions related to merchandise and store policies
• Recommending products or services based on customer needs
• Processing customer payments and refunds Essential duties and responsibilities of the Retail Sales Associate:
  • Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
  • Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
  • Stocking, organizing, and taking inventory of merchandise
  • Keeping the store clean and organized
  • Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
  • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
  • Collect payments whether in cash or credit
  • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
  • Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
  • Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
  • Bag, box or gift-wrap packages. Requirements: Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales.
