Job Description:
What You'll Do IMA Financial is seeking a Payroll Manager to
join our Human Resources team in Wichita, KS! In addition to
leading payroll processing, this position will ensure all company
and regulatory compliance for payroll procedures and applications
are met. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead
multi-state payroll processing Maintain relations, contracts, and
administration of the Payroll tax vendor Register for withholdings
in each state that associates reside, meet compliance with all
applicable state and federal wage, tax laws, taxability limits and
tax rates Prepare payroll tax returns, annual W-2 balancing and
processing, and complete payroll tax processing Run preparation
reports for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports (gross
payroll, hours worked, tax deductions, fringe, and benefit
deductions) for accounting and financial statement reporting Handle
internal and external audit procedures Coordinate HRIS
implementation and payroll transition for all mergers and
acquisitions Coordinate applicable state new hire reporting Partner
with the HR team to align and implement more efficiencies,
workflows, and automation by performing ongoing reviews and
analysis of current HR processes Optimize the front-end of the HRIS
and other systems to ensure a high rate of modern, efficient,
productive, and accurate processes Handle administrative payroll
functions by scanning, filing payroll documents into electronic
filing system, and processing weekly activity reports Responsible
for labor poster management, create reports as requested, and
assist associates with questions regarding payroll, HR policy and
procedures Provide back-up for annual EEO reporting, employment
verifications, and unemployment claims Lead year-end activities in
accordance with guidelines to ensure steps are complete and final
for an accurate year-end process Assess and troubleshoots for the
benefit plans and eligibility, open enrollments, total reward
statements, W2 costs, and ACA audit assistance Assist in annual
United Way Campaign meetings, maintain contribution elections for
submission to United Way representative, and input new United Way
payroll deductions in HRIS Support and demonstrate IMA's core

and inclusion among all IMA associates You Should Have: 5+ years of
payroll experience required Bachelor's degree preferred Strong
analytic and math skills required Proficiency with Microsoft Office
products (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
required Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong
attention to detail and organization skills Sound judgment,
maturity, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential
