Job Description Key Construction is currently seeking Superintendents for its Wichita Office. Qualified applicant must have at least 5 years of experience managing large construction projects. Applicant must be able to efficiently construct, organize, direct, control the quality of construction, and be able to meet the budgets and schedules for each specific project. Essential Functions Include: * Direct day-to-day onsite supervision of subcontractors and labor force* Schedule subcontractors and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion* Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed* Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with contracted scope of work* Complete all field reports and documentation such as conversation logs, safety checklists, material receipts and personal log in addition to formal daily reports* Walk project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external client, including representatives of the owner.* Schedule and meet with inspectors and other building/government officials* Conduct owner and subcontractor walk-throughs and prepare punch lists* Monitor costs, including labor and material* Enforce safety rules set forth by the company, OSHA, local codes and all governing authorities Desired Skills & Experience: * Experience with large Retail, Hospitality, Multi-family, Critical Facilities, Light Industrial and/or Healthcare preferred.* Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Management, Engineering or other related field is a plus* Valid Driver's License required.
