An Associate should expect to:

  • Build relationships and gain opportunities with clients from various industries as you provide leading-edge accounting and consulting services.
  • Work with an amazingly talented group of colleagues, applying technical skills across a range of projects and client opportunities.
  • Provide thorough, concise, complete, accurate and professional services to internal and external clients.
  • Grow and develop, as you are sought out as a preferred service provider on projects that fit your unique abilities.
  • Be held accountable for team goals and client deliverables, as you partner with the project leader to work within project scope and exceed expectations.
  • Work in a progressive environment that rewards innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • Identify trends and patterns in client information and financials, recognizing potential problems and bringing them to the supervisor’s attention.
  • Demonstrate curiosity, going beyond the textbook, asking hard questions and using your technical skills to provide solutions to client problems.
  • Keep focused and remain proactive at all times—positively collaborating to achieve team, client and firm goals.


What you’ll need for this position:

  • Education: Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
  • Certification: You must meet sit-eligibility requirements for the CPA exam prior to your start date.
  • GPA: Must be 3.0 or higher in major and overall. (Exceptions considered if a letter of recommendation from an accounting professor is submitted.)
  • Hours: Availability to work 54 hours minimum per week during busy seasons
  • Travel: Varies by group and location. Expect 25-30% overnight as a new associate.
  • Employment Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis upon hire. (KCoe Isom will not provide sponsorship for this position, and therefore cannot consider candidates requiring sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future. e.g., H-1B status).
