This facility operates five days a week with potential for overtime and produces Sausage Crumbles and Dry Sausage. We are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus for all new hires. We have open positions for second shift. POSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for covering, sanitizing, cleaning and prepping equipment for use in various departments. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cover motors, electrical plugs and all computer equipment
• Clean up excess waste on the floors
• Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment
• Scour all equipment with scouring pad and/or chemicals are required
• Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant, oil when done
• Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, etc.
• Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
• Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable. May use SAP if transferred /rotatedREQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)
  • Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
  • Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently
  • Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally (less than 5 flexion/minute)
  • Must be able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 10 pounds occasionallyThis position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
