Koch Companies Services is hiring aData Governance Leadto safeguard and maximize the current and future value of Koch Finance Data Assets by leading and executing the Data Governance framework for its Data Management and Enablement (DME) Capability. We are looking for someone to play a key role in driving, designing, and delivering communication messages to influence and work with stakeholders to deliver quality data for Koch.
What You Will Do In Your Role

• Define, refine, and execute Data Governance framework to drive ongoing adoption - working with Koch leveraged Capabilities and DME to prioritize Data Governance activities.
• Mentor and coach IT and Business personnel on Data Governance best practices
• Drive the governance influence operating model to work with Data Providers to develop plans to resolve issues
• Work as liaison between DME and the data steering committee to influence without formal authority
• Establish and govern frameworks and definitions related to data policies, regulatory compliance, and standards
• Lead the execution of Escalation Process for critical data issues
• Assist in research, development, and implementation of strategic initiatives by participating in product determination to anticipate data related impacts
• Work proactively across Koch Finance to identify data sources and their owners, data users, data processes
• Partner with DME Leadership to define Governance Communication Strategy and then execute on that strategy
• Design & deliver Data Governance change messaging to DME and Data Providers
• Build and maintain a data stewardship/ownership model for continually cleansed financial data
• Partner with data providers to perform root cause analysis when data issues arise and provide guidance and assistance in the data cleansing process - accountability for resolution of issues
• Celebrate winning stories, share lessons learned and mutual benefits
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings for the Finance Data Governance Council
• Support Data Governance Tooling activities and provide inputs into requirements
• Participate in PI planning, product determination and any Data Governance initiatives as needed. The Experience You Will Bring
  Requirements:
  • Experience in developing Data Governance framework, operating model, implementation approach, roadmap, and best practices
  • Experience in defining Data Governance processes for an enterprise data capability
  • Experience with data quality, data policy, data standards, data privacy, data security and core Data Governance skills
  • Must have a strong focus on internal and external customer requirements
  • Knowledgeable in Change Management framework and methodologies
  • Ability to partner with vendors, external contacts, and industry standards organization to deliver technical solutions. What Will Put You Ahead
    • Data Governance Practitioner in one or more large organizations
    • Experience in participating in the Data Governance tool selection process
    • Experience in leadership or participating on Agile teams.
    • Intermediate understanding of the data development life cycle and data management principles (ETL/ELT process, SDLC, metadata management, data quality, etc.).
