Connect with your Talent Advisor today for additional specifics.Responsibilities Collaborate with the health care team to provide social, emotional, and developmental support during a pediatric patient's illness and hospitalization.Supply a caring and secure atmosphere for patients and their families in pediatrics.Collaborate with the health care team to plan appropriate interventions.Develop and/or participate in outreach and educational activities to teach families, staff, and the community about issues and services related to ill and hospitalized children.Maintain proper education to continue with professional development.Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration:Child Life Professional credentialed from the Association of Child Life Professionals obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.Education:Bachelor's degree required.Additional Preferences BLS PreferredSuccessful completion of 600 hour internship in child life program preferredWhy Join Our Team Ascension Via Christi caregivers have been caring for and providing healing to Kansas communities for more than 135 years.
