Job Description:
What You'll Do Our Wichita Employee Benefits team is seeking an
experienced Analyst to join our growing group! This role is
responsible for interacting regularly with Employee Benefit clients
and team members for marketing needs, request for proposals (RFP),
and package renewals. As a Sr. Analyst, you will play a integral
part in partnerships and negotiations and use extensive
underwriting and analysis skills to accurately report and present
to respected groups. Responsibilities include, but are not limited
to: Prepares RFP for all administrative services only (ASO) and
fully insured submissions to market with Account Executive
direction Collect, manages, and reviews proposals Updates marketing
results into spreadsheet ensuring accuracies to be used internally
and in client presentation Requests renewals for all lines of
coverage Initiates review of all fully insured, ASO, stop loss,
plans, cost, and contract terms based on criteria provided by
Account Executive Provides recommendations to Account Executive
Negotiates with carriers based on the targeted goals from Account
Executive Maintains ongoing relationships with carrier and vendor
partners Under guidance from Account Executive, provides analysis
for benchmarking, contribution, disruption, network, stop loss
deductible and GeoAccess analysis to include fully insured vs.
self-funded analysis, and prepares such findings for Account
Executive Provides underwriting of all medical/Rx, dental, vision,
life and disability plans and provides IBNR to client With minimal
guidance, analyzes data for inconsistencies and trends Provides a
written and oral summary of findings to Account Executive Builds
and customizes reports to fit client needs Prepares client
presentations and presents in front of client with provided
direction from Account Executive Provides mentorship to analyst and
performs technical review of work Supports and demonstrates IMA's
core values Values and understands the importance of diversity,
equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates You Should Have: 6-8
years of similar or related experience Bachelor's degree preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites required Advanced Excel
experience required Attains Life and Health license & maintains
through continuing education requirements Limited travel required
