What You Will Do We are looking for Surgical Technologists to help?grow our Heart Team. We need team players and hard workers. ?As a Surgical Technologist, you will cooperatively work with about 20 compassionate team members to provide the best patient care experience possible. Within the unit, we have 3 heart rooms and we also utilize our hybrid room for surgical procedures. Our team supports 4 doctors and will be welcoming a new surgeon to the team in September. We have a stellar reputation.?Our TAVR program has?won many awards and our innovative surgical teams have been the first in the world to perform several surgical procedures. Shift information: 6:30 a.m. ? 3 p.m. Monday-Friday, no weekends, or holidays! On-Call One on-call day per week One on-call weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Key Responsibilities: Prepare surgical operating suite with sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies. Hand required and requested instruments and supplies to surgeon during surgery. Assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Maintain instruments in an organized manner and monitors and tracks instruments counts throughout procedures. Assist surgeons provision of hemostasis during surgery. What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration: Preferred Credential(s): BLS Provider?credentialed from the? American Heart Association (AHA).? Education: Diploma? High school diploma/GED with 2 years of scrub tech experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
