Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist - (Cardio - CI Tech -
CVIT)
StartDate: ASAP
Available Shifts: 8/10/12 D
Pay Rate: $1856.00 - $2139.00
Kyphoplasty, y-90, peripheral interventions, stroke and trauma
cases, diagnostic cerebral cases, drain placements, biopsies.
Thrombolysis cases, neuro coiling cases. Flexible with change, able
to work in different radiology modality throughout day. Positive
outlook.
Number of Beds -5 Bay holding room; 3 room Ir suite; 3 room CT
suite
Number of Staff - 5 nurses 5 RT's
Type of staff:
Day Shift -Outpatient procedures during hours of 700-530, call
requirement through night.
Night Shift - Call required
Patient Ratios - 1:1 during procedures; 3-4 patient ration in
holding room dependent upon acuity
Type of equipment -Maclab documentation and paper charting
EMR -Meditech
Required Qualifications1 year IR procedure nursing experience
including sedation experienceACLS, PALS. Kyphoplasty, y-90,
peripheral interventions, stroke and trauma cases, diagnostic
cerebral cases, drain placements, biopsies. Thrombolysis cases,
neuro coiling cases. Flexible with change, able to work in
different radiology modality throughout day. Positive outlook.
