Job Summary: Provides top-tier customer service and professional support to internal customers including bankers in traditional banking centers and those in the Customer Solutions Center, Business Development, and Treasury Management areas. This includes answering deposit account questions via phone and email and reviewing legal documents to determine if the meet bank requirements. Audits all deposit account opening documentation for accuracy and fidelity. Some interaction with external customers may be required. Takes initiative to improve workflow and researches new ideas when necessary. A high degree of knowledge regarding all INTRUST Bank deposit products and related documents and regulations is needed as well as keeping updated on all government regulations as they pertain to deposit products. Promotes and fosters teamwork across all areas of INTRUST and is focused on delivering a high level of customer service to all. Must maintain strict standards of confidentiality, and perform duties in a manner supporting INTRUST's Character Qualities.

Essential Functions:


  • Supports internal and external customers by answering phone and email questions regarding deposit account setups, bank regulations, and policies.
  • Assist with various department functions including, but not limited to new account/maintenance auditing, scanning/processing documents, address corrections/changes, daily/weekly/monthly exception reports/processes.
  • Provides backup assistance as needed on multiple department functions.
  • Able to work with all internal software programs and product applications to ensure customer support and service levels are met.
  • Stays well informed of all rules and regulations governing deposit accounts offered at INTRUST Bank including all checking, savings, CD, IRA, and safe box products.
  • Able to accurately and efficiently follow established procedures.
  • Works on various projects as assigned.

    Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 4+ year's related job experience required. Previous banking experience required. Previous deposit operations, customer service, or CD/IRA experience a plus.

    Required Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication skills and computer experience required. Must have excellent customer service skills. Ability to manage several high-priority tasks at one time. Must be able to explain problems clearly, and interact in a professional/positive manner.

    Required Licenses and/or Certifications: None.

    Physical Demands: Long periods of time will be spent viewing personal computer, sitting, standing and walking. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Must be able to hear and speak clearly both face-to-face and over the phone. Must be able to use hands to key information and handle objects

    Working Conditions: Normal office conditions.
